When staying with us at Kalaekilohana Inn & Retreat, you may want to incorporate some of these “dining out” spots as you travel around the island.
Here are some of our recommendations:
When you are at the Volcano, we highly recommend Thai Thai in Volcano Village. Take an early dinner before the crowds arrive and then head back to the park to see the glow from the lava lake.
When you are at Pu’uhonua National Historic Park, we recommend a very local experience at Manago Hotel in Captain Cook. Popular with locals for decades.
Grabbing a great sandwich at Coffee Grinds in Ocean view on your way up to the park is ideal. We’ve got coolers and ice packs to make it easy for you.
A quick lunch at Hana Hou restaurant is a great way to end your afternoon loop tour.
Of course, that tour is best started with the Lilikoi Malasadsas from Punalu’u Bakery.
Combined with the great breakfasts and dinners at Kalaekilohana, you’ll find great food at every stop.
