Let Hawaii Happen by Train, Plane, & and things not so Mundane

Start with a plane

We’re beginning the “Let Hawaii Happen Wherever You Are” campaign by letting Hawaii happen wherever we are. After a test run in San Francisco we’re taking Hawaii further afield. We’ll be on the road meeting previous guests, making new friends, and spreading Hawaii’s allure.

Our journey begins with a brief stop in Oakland to refresh the macadamia nuts supply of dear friends Robin and Leisha, get a little rest, and share a cup of 100% Ka’u coffee at 5:00am. They may sleep through that last part. Then we are off to Zurich, Switzerland with a switch at JFK before the puddle jump to Europe.

Follow Us

While we’re on the road, we’ll be sharing our aloha and our stories. Naturally, we’ll be posting on our blog and we would love to have you follow along for the duration of the journey. If we can figure out how to link that to Facebook, we should be able to let you know when we make a new post. Share the aloha. Make friends.  See old friends. Share some stories from the road. What’s not to like?

As part of the adventure, we’re doing something just a little crazy. We’re running a photo contest of folks “Letting Hawaii Happen Wherever They Are” Send in a photo and you are automatically entered to win a trip to Hawaii, including 4 nights at Kalaekilohana, airfare from any non-stop west coast gateway to Hawaii Island or any neighbor island gateway, and a five day car rental. Everyone has an equal chance to win the grand prize. Better yet, if your photo gets votes, you could win one of our great bonus prizes. Get all the details on the contest page on our website. Go to www.kau-hawaii.com and be a winner.
