Travel Interuptus

What a great season of travel it’s been. Arriving home from Barcelona ended up including a fortuitous detour through Honolulu. How lovely it was to arrive home, step off the plane, and immediately see not one but two sets of dear to our heart members of our personal family. One duo was headed off to Maui and the other had just arrived from Miami on their way to their long-time friends new property literally 3 miles up the road from us.  They were flying in to Hilo and we were flying in to Kona.  Ah serendipity.  Hawaii can be such an amazing place that way.

Upon our return from Palm Springs, we swept right into 3 weeks of deep cleaning and room upgrades as we prepare for 2016. We managed  to have a vacation at the Inn and moved upstairs into one of the suites to see what our guests’ experience in the rooms were for just a few days.  Our verdict was a unanimous thumbs up!  We have one more getaway scheduled before we open to a full house December 9th, so do check back with our travel blog in a week or so.
